Amy’s Kitchen at World Food India
Amy’s, one of the pioneers in the global organic food movement, will be participating at World Food India, taking place from the 3rd to the 5th of November, 2017, at New Delhi. The global scale event, organized by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, is the largest gathering of manufacturers, investors, food processors and organizations from the global food system.
Amy’s, hailing from California, USA, will be showcasing it’s special India range of frozen ready-to-eat foods, snacks, and pizzas at Stall No. 39, in Hall I. Present at the Expo will be Amy’s Kitchen co-founder, Rachel Berliner, as well as the Senior Director, Business Development, Paul Schiefer. Amy’s Kitchen, which has continually worked towards the organic food movement since its inception in 1987, will be participating across the three-day event with product displays and demos, in a special stall, created with Amy’s brand philosophy, for the event.
Amy’s Kitchen has an international range of over 250 products, including gluten free and vegan options. The family-owned brand launched in India in the last quarter of 2016 with a range of 14 products, including canned soups, frozen pizzas, meals and snacks and starting at the range of INR160/-. It is currently available across retail outlets like Modern Bazaar, Le Marche, Foodhall, 24SEVEN, Needs Supermarket, and HyperCITY.
Founded over 30 years ago by Rachel and Andy Berliner, today Amy’s remains a privately held, family owned business. Taking pride in using home-style cooking methods, Amy’s is one of the few companies that can say it crafts its own recipes, sources its own high quality ingredients and makes its own products in-house.
Maintaining high quality standards is really important at Amy’s – Rachel and Andy personally taste test every new recipe, and products are crafted to ensure that the same level of care and attention goes into Amy’s dishes that you would expect from traditional home cooked food.
